Our Services

Foundational Math Diagnostic Testing

Our diagnostic assessments measure high-leverage, building-block math skills from grades 3–8. We help schools pinpoint unfinished learning, identify the students who would benefit most from targeted math intervention, and determine the specific skills each student needs to strengthen.

Results provide educators with clear, actionable data for forming intervention groups, setting instructional priorities, and planning intensive support.

Proprietary Foundational Math Curriculum

NEP provides intensive, diagnostic-driven mathematics intervention through structured 10-week cycles for students whose unfinished learning prevents them from fully accessing high-school math.

We assess high-leverage skills from grades 3–8, identify each student’s gaps across 18 Core Building Block skills, and create an individualized instructional pathway. NEP intervention specialists then provide frequent individual and small-group instruction using our proprietary curriculum, student workbooks, and mastery-based assessments.

Instruction connects foundational skills directly to Algebra, current coursework, Regents preparation, and graduation goals. Throughout each cycle, we track skill mastery and instructional dosage, review progress with school leaders, and adjust instruction based on the data. At the end of the cycle, schools receive clear outcomes and recommendations for students who are ready to exit, continue, or receive more intensive support.

MTSS Tier 3 Mathematics Intervention

NEP’s curriculum helps students rebuild unfinished foundational skills while remaining connected to middle- and high-school mathematics.

Each lesson pairs explicit instruction and guided practice with applications to Algebra, current coursework, and standardized state exams (NYS 3-8 and/or Math Regents). Student workbooks, cumulative review, mastery challenges, and targeted practice give intervention specialists a consistent instructional roadmap that can be adapted to each student’s diagnostic profile and pace of learning.

Students do not simply repeat elementary-level work. They learn how foundational skills are used in the mathematics they need to master now.

“What I’ve grown to like most is the supportive, learning environment. I had two teachers who were clearly knowledgeable.”
